Came up with the phone drive concept. Worked with Groundswell PA and the Office of Arts, Culture and Creative Economy to do national arts advocating from City Hall.

Students at Appalachian had done a Call for Artistic Rebuttals and selected entries were displayed in an exhibition by the time I arrived. I selected the Artistic Rebuttals that would be printed in an Appalachian State University Edition of the Artistic Rebuttal Project. I also gave a lecture and made several visits to painting and graphic design classes.

Organized seminars in preparation for federal arts advocating and led a group of 15 graduate students in meeting with their congressional district leaders on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC during Art Advocacy Day, April, 2010.
